The purpose of risk analysis is to identify, quantify and mitigate the various risk exposures or hazards facing a business, investment or project. Risk analysis includes identification of risks, determination of uncertainties, completion of analysis models and implementation of solutions.

ISO 9001:2015 defines risk as the impact of uncertainty on expected results. In process identification the first step is to determine what process will be identified. Then the desired level of impact so as to prevent or reduce unwanted impacts (risks).

Risk Analysis is one of the important standards in the quality management system. In addition to being an important point in the Internal and External Audits carried out by Hasanuddin University. Each field is required to make a risk analysis based on their respective quality objectives. The Quality Assurance and Reputation Improvement Cluster facilitates carrying out this activity to assist each field in preparing risk analysis.

Participants in this activity were the Vice Deans, Chairperson and Secretary of GPM-PR. Head of Sub. Administration, Heads of Sub. Section and related staff. The resource persons in this activity were Dr. Suhardi, STP., M.P with material on the Socialization of Hasanuddin University Risk Management Quality Procedures and Dr. Ir. Mahmud Achmad, M.P with technical material for the preparation of Risk Analysis Based on Quality Objectives.

The activity was held on Friday, July 12, 2024 at 12.45 to finish in the Assembly Room of the Faculty of Agriculture, Hasanuddin University.
