ISO 9001:2015 Certification is an international standard for Quality Management System Certification, also known as Quality Management System Certification. This certification specifies various requirements, guidelines, and recommendations for the design and assessment of a Quality Management Certification. The purpose of this certification is to ensure that the products or services produced by a company meet the requirements set by the world standards body, ISO. When a company has successfully passed the audit and obtained ISO 9001:2015, it means that the company has met various requirements that have been set internationally. This can make the fulfillment of specific consumer needs, namely where the company is responsible for guaranteeing the quality of the products produced. The ISO 9001: 2015 certificate is positioned as a Quality Management System certification standard or Quality Management System certification.

Hasanuddin University as one of the universities that uses ISO 9001: 2015 Certification to increase customer satisfaction and improve quality. Unhas conducts an External Quality Audit once a year. On this occasion, the Quality Assurance Group of the Faculty of Agriculture, Hasanuddin University conducted workshop activities in connection with the implementation of the ISO 9001: 2015 External Audit. This activity aims to refresh the existing Quality Management System documents at the Faculty of Agriculture. In order to create uniformity of document documentation, and can be implemented properly and correctly in each work unit.

So the Quality Assurance Group of the Faculty of Agriculture Unhas carried out this workshop on Saturday, July 23, 2022 starting at 08.00-16.00 WITA at the LPMPP Unhas Hall. Participants in this activity are parties involved in improving the Quality Assurance System of the Faculty of Agriculture, including the Vice Deans, Heads and Secretaries of Departments, Heads of Study Programs both S1 and S2 Programs, Study Program Quality Assurance Units, Heads of Sub. Administration, Heads of Sub. Sections and related staff.

The speakers in this activity were Prof. Dr. Nunuk Hariani Soekamto, MS; Prof. Dr. Ir. Ambo Tuwo, DEA; Dr. Anwar Thosibo, M.Hum; Drs. Arsyad Genda, MA. Each of them presented the material, namely, Material I on the Implementation of ISO 9001: 2015 SMM; Material II on Risk Management / Control; Material III on Document Rejuvenation Strategy (including Review of Quality Objectives of Head of Subagency); Material IV on Knowledge Needs (Competency Management of Lecturers and Staff and Knowledge Organization).

This activity is also expected to be a benchmark for understanding the ISO 9001: 2015 quality management system so that awerness is needed for all auditees. Because ISO 9001: 2015 audits are very important to be carried out by small / large scale organizations / institutions, public service organizations, or government departments, by having good quality management, can increase customer satisfaction and improve the quality of the organization / institution itself.
